What Do I Need ?
|
1. Asset Acquisition (Debt Instalment) Trust.
|
In order for a Superannuation fund to borrow for an Asset,
an 'Asset Acquisition (Debt Instalment) Trust' must be set up. The Asset
funded from borrowings must be held by the Asset Acquisition Trust.

2. Trustee Company for the Debt Instalment Trust.
|
If the Asset Acquisition Trust is to have a Corporate Trustee, a Trustee Company will also be required.
The Asset Acquisition Trustee cannot be the same entity as the Super Fund Trustee.

3. Superannuation Trust Deed Amendment.
|
If your Superannuation Trust Deed is more than 3 years old, you may wish to ensure the Deed meets all
current legislative requirements by purchasing a Trust Deed amendment, prior to proceeding with your asset acquisition strategy.
